This winter, the museum is undergoing renovations
The National Maritime Museum in Rochefort—Cheusses/Arsenal site—will be closed from November 3, 2025, to February 6, 2026. During this period, renovation work will be carried out on the museum's collections. The former naval medical school will remain open with extended hours. Don't hesitate to book your visit now!

1 september to 22 october : 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. closed on Tuesdays.
23 october to 5 november : 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. every day
6 novembre to 22 december : 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. closed on Tuesdays
23 december to 7 january : 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. every day
Annual closure from 6 january till 7 february, 1 May and 25 December.
Accessibility
The museum is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
