The Ancienne école de médecine navalel is closed for renovation work
From Monday 5 October, the Ancienne école de médecine navale is closed to the public for several months. The building, which has housed the school since 1788 and was listed as a Historic Monument in 2022, requires renovation work.
The Hôtel de Cheusses/Arsenal is open during this period. The entire team at the musée national de la Marine in Rochefort invitse you to discover this second site, it's rich collection et it's new exhibition "Au poste de plongée ! L'aventure des premiers submersibles" (Diving Stations! The Adventure of the First Submersibles).
