Groups
A group must include at least 15 people and up to 25, including supervisors.
Only public-law organisations may pay after the visit.
Groups are asked to arrive 15 minutes before the start time of the visit.
In the event of a delay of more than 20 minutes, the museum reserves the right not to provide the tour, or to shorten it so that the end time remains unchanged.
The museum does not have a space for picnicking.
Individuals
Yes, booking or buying a ticket online is compulsory, as the site can only be visited on a guided tour.
Tickets cannot be returned or exchanged,, regardless of the purchase channel.
Please check your spam/junk folder. If you can't find anything, you can contact the museum team at contact(@)musee-marine.fr. Please include the name and first name used for the purchase, as well as the date, time and number of tickets bought, along with the amount paid if possible.
Online, you can only pay by credit card (except AMEX). At the ticket desk you can pay in cash, by credit card (except AMEX), cheque, “chèque culture” vouchers, or “chèque vacances” ANCV vouchers (paper only).

Printing is not compulsory. However, it is essential to be able to show your ticket (not the purchase confirmation) either on your mobile or on paper. The ticket must have a QR code or barcode.
Yes, the entry ticket to the Ancienne École de Médecine Navale includes both the permanent collections and the temporary exhibitions.
Pushchairs are not allowed, as there are many stairs and no lift.
Crutches are allowed, as are walking sticks fitted with a rubber tip. Please note, however, that there is no lift to access the upper floors (2).
As the museum has no cloakroom, we ask you to come without suitcases or bulky items.
Four guided tours are offered each day, depending on the opening hours: the 45-minute guided tour and the 1.5-hour guided tour
Only guide dogs for blind or visually impaired people are allowed.

Unfortunately, the site is not accessible at all to visitors with reduced mobility.
Please note that guided tours are not recommended for visitors with a mental disability, owing to the nature of the collections. Tours can be adapted; please contact the site on 05 46 99 59 57.

There is no dining area.
Yes, the shop is located at the ticket desk, before the entrance gate. Please let us know when you arrive at the desk if you only wish to visit the shop.
A few free spaces are available on Place Amiral Meyer in front of the museum; paid spaces can also be found along Rue Denfert Rochereau. A free car park is located a little further away, on Cours Roy Bry.
