The castle and its ramparts offer a breathtaking view of the roadstead and the Penfeld River. The museum’s collection retraces 17 centuries of the history of Brest arsenal and ocean-going fleets. The second focuses on underwater archaeology, with remains from wrecks brought up from the ocean floor.
