Anchored at Place du Trocadéro, where it looks across to the Eiffel Tower, the musée national de la Marine, the French Maritime Museum, displays its unique collection in the Palais de Chaillot, one of the most beautiful monuments of the 1930s. Discover over a thousand extraordinary objects, model ships and machinery, naval souvenirs, figureheads, weapons and navigating instruments, which tell of life onboard ship, and how boats were built and sailors navigated the world from the 17th century to today. All aboard ! Thematic exhibitions, presented among the permanent collections, add to experience.
