Presentation
This remarkable building protected the port of l’Orient in the 17th century.
The Trésors d’Océans (Ocean Treasures) exhibition leads visitors alongside underwater archaeologists, on the trail of fabulous cargoes from ships which plied the Passage to India.
A second exhibition bears testimony to the history of sea rescue.
